Note: all of the links in the blog post direct to Ravelry.
This year, I'm really starting to fall in love with the gnome decorations. This isn't surprising... I tend to jump on the trendy bandwagons years after their new and exciting (this applies to every aspect of my life, not just knitting đ ).
If you aren't familiar with Sarah Shira of Imagined Landscapes and you love gnomes, let me introduce you. In my mind, she's the queen of knitted gnomes (or should that be gnitted gnomes?), and the gnomes have adorable names (gnames?) too!
Spoiler: This blog post is essentially a highlight of Imagined Landscapes patterns.

Indie Gift Along
Not familiar with the Indie Gift Along (also known as Indie GAL)? It's an event hosted every year on Ravelry to celebrate and support indie pattern designers while knitting and crocheting together as a community - theoretically, knitting gifts for the holidays, but gifts for yourself 100% count too!
This year (2023), there are 262 participating designers, over 5000 patterns on sale during the bundle sale, and over 23,000 patterns eligible for the knit along/crochet along!
