As you may or may not know, I just released my Guiding Principles Collection, which includes the incredibly squishy Endurance Shawl. This shawl was designed as a collaboration with the the talented Steve (and Andy!) of Leading Men Fiber Arts. In case you're interested in knitting this shawl design (you can find the pattern here!), I've selected a few Leading Men Fiber Arts yarn trios that would be stunning combinations for the Endurance Shawl.
Of course, I ought to start with the yarn that I knit my Endurance Shawl with. I used the Dramaturg base (the squishiest superwash merino DK) in the Midnight Rendezvous, Orchard Slope, and Raspberry Parfait colorways. I love the colors, and I could knit this shawl 10 times over, all in LMFA yarn!
You most certainly could knit a one-color version of the Endurance Shawl in any color from Steve and Andy's collection, but (IMO) half the fun is selecting the color options! So, here are is a small sampling of three-color combos that I put together!
Color Inspiration
London Fog + Just Sayin' + Darkest Hour
Electric Avenue + My Lip Gloss Be Poppin' + Imperial
Perfection + Trewe Luv + Tranquil
Black Walnut + Green Gables + Vengeance
Alien Attack + Safety Dance + Nacho Cheese
Poison Apple + Pipeline + Darkest Hour
Ice Ice Baby + Imperfection + Perfection
Dames at Sea + Industrial + Darkest Hour
The Haunted Wood + Envy + Industrial
Gothic Queen + Grapes of Wrath + Black Walnut
I completely understand that you may not be able to afford hand-dyed yarn, and that is OK. (I wouldn't be able to work with it if it weren't for collaborations!) Because of that, I've selected a list of more affordable DK weight yarns that would also work well in the Endurance Shawl! (Note: I am not affiliated with any of the links -- I am just providing this list for your reference. The images are the images from the links provided.)

Have you made a selection for your Endurance Shawl colors? If so, what have you chosen? Steve and I would love to hear about it in the comments below, on Instagram (be sure to tag @snickerdoodleknits and @leadingmenfiberarts), and on Ravelry (share it in my group and/or link your yarn and pattern on your project page)!
