As you may or may not know, I just released my Guiding Principles Collection, which includes the gorgeously detailed Patience Shawl. This shawl was designed as a collaboration with Tiffany of Tippy Tree Yarns. In case you're interested in knitting this shawl design (you can find the pattern here!), I've selected a few Tippy Tree Yarns colorways that I would love to knit in the Patience Shawl pattern.
Of course, I ought to start with the yarn that I knit my Endurance Shawl with. I used the Sparkle Sock base (a beautiful merino/nylon/stellina combo) in the Branches colorway. This combination creates such a delicate, and "fancy" look.

All of Tiffany's colorways are stunning, so here I've selected a few that I think would best show off the incredible details of the Patience Shawl.
Color Inspiration
Pretty In Pink: A light, beautiful play with pinks and gold.

Purple Ghost: A beautiful, tonal pink colorway

Clock Strikes Midnight: A deep, beautiful charcoal gray tonal colorway.

Old Apple Orchard: A fun play with speckles on a cream base with a beautiful spring green color.

Windsor Castle: A gorgeous mixing of tans, grays, and browns for a beautiful neutral colorway.

Mountainside: A gorgeous mid-tone gray perfect for any project!

Dusky Beard Tongue: A beautiful pinky-purple tonal that will become your new neutral!

Rose Garden Beauty: An overall light-colored tone with beautiful pops of green, pink, and yellow.

Duchess: The most delightful, creamy swirl of pinks with black, green, and yellow speckles.

I completely understand that you may not be able to afford hand-dyed yarn, and that is OK. (I wouldn't be able to work with it if it weren't for collaborations!) Because of that, I've selected a list of more affordable sock weight yarns that would also work well in the Patience Shawl! (Note: I am not affiliated with any of the links -- I am just providing this list for your reference. The images are the images from the links provided.)
